Hello peeps can some one explain to me why when I removed 2 radiators and closed the water off at each end, when I refitted them and bled them I lost all the pressure in the combi boiler ?? I have done this in the past before we had the combi boiler fitted and all was ok after I bled the rads. This time, we had no hot water or heating until the nice plumber turned up and didnt charge me !!!

when you let the air out (bleed) the rads

it drops the pressure

usually a combi is a sealed system

your old system would have had a tank in the loft to top up the system

perfectly normal for a sealed system ;)

You're very lucky to have a Plumber who doesn't charge for call-out to refill a system I would have charged £76 +Vat!! ;)
