Here is a foggy pic of the boiler

I am making a cupboard to box it in and trying to figure out the ventilation I need for it. Any ideas please ? It's in a bedroom and has some sort of flue already through the external wall.

Thank you

I don't recognise the make / model. If you have the manual then that sort of info is contained there. Its no wonder you want to cover it......not pretty is it?

It is ariston - microgenus is written on a barcode but don't know if that is the name or something else , knowing nothing about boilers

Manual - what's that ???!! (The joys of a repossession property  )

Indeed it does. The manual states that "No specific ventilation requirements are needed for the installation within a cupboard". So, in other words, carry on and build your cupboard, but remember the clearances given by Micky. Generally a cupboard door will suffice to provide the clearance to the front, however, it doesn't actually say this in the manual for your boiler

Thank you so so much !! So apart from the clearance guidelines it doesn't need any ventilation slots ?? Would it be better if we put some in anyway ?

You can put some in if it makes you feel better but they're really not necessary

Okay one last question ? Apologies for my stupidity !!

The clearance at the front states 450mm - please tell me that this doesn't mean I have to place the door 450mm away from the front of the boiler - this will be one huge cupboard if so !

As long as the door when open allows for this clearance that is enough right ?

Wahoo ! Thank you so much for your help ! It's amazing how happy building a cupboard can make me ! :D lol
