It’s only a toilet. Get what one suits you now, change it in the future if you need to.
Healthiest way to go to the toilet is squatting so the higher up your knees are, the better. With a 'comfort height' your knees won’t be as high as with a standard one.

that's all very good till you're stuck on the loo. You can always put your feet up on one of those little steppy stools, but TBH if you need to be in that position then you probably need to drink more and up the fibre !
fair enough. I used those as a child all over Europe. My mum had to hold me hands to stop me falling over. I couldn't use one now unless I collared someone to hold my hands or there were grab rails!

Without getting too graphical, I understand your point. One I hadn't considered. Best if the rocket doesn't bump into the side of the valley during launch!
You've swayed me, standard it is then. It will be a close-coupled bog-standard toilet, not built-in or flush to the wall. If it ever needs swapping then it just needs four screws undoing and a couple of pipes swapping over.

I still class myself as relatively fit, ie I do loads of DIY and can walk 5 or 6 miles on good day, just when my knee plays up standing up off anything lowish is impossible without something to use to pull up for the initial effort . Bearing in mind that the NHS make you wait 2-3 years after diagnosis for joint replacements these days ......
