Concept Alarm not charging back up battery and general?'s

Alarm
sorry mate you is a bit wrong on that one!

its a resistor, part of the charging circuit.

OP
check your charging load, to the battery to ensure is giving you the correct current.

14.5 vdc is a good voltage, but you must have a good charge current as well

Oh dear thought as much never mind. The diodes are used as a bridge rectifier to convert AC to DC although you can get diodes with bands across them but I believe they are normally biased to one end to distinguish the cathode and anode. However you seemed very sure that it was a diode as was Europlex.

Fuk me, what more do you want?
I said sorry, I MADE AN ERROR. After seeing the picture of the undamaged panel.
So sorry I could not remember the resistor there from memory.

I know what they are there for and what they do, so thanks for the lesson.

As someone said, why Gloat?
I made an error and said as much.
Not many do here, I doubt you would be so honest from your post.

Not sure what you are on about now. I just wanted confirmation that it is not a colour coded diode. As europlex was so certain as well it could be me making a mistake still. Dont take it to heart we are all hear to help.
