Hi everyone, I know already a few posts about similar situations but my concrete blocks are more crumbled then cracked in the loft.
Our whole party wall is constructed like this and has almost no sound barrier to next door. A few months ago I swept away all the loose bits from the board's but in this time is has go noticeably worse.
My first question is should this be a concern?
Secondly my neighbour has had an extension built and almost gutted his house with a lot of work on the party wall. Such as a new metal beam put in and lots of drilling into the wall and we were not given a notice so assuming nothing was surveyed.
Can drilling in the wall make this worse as I am thinking about speaking with the neighbors about this as I believe the whole wall might be like this as it's much noisier through the wall now.
Thanks for any help or advice.
