Hi there how do I go about concreting channels in a concrete floor where electric cables and water pipes have been placed. Do you need to wet the dry concrete before you pour the concrete ?

Concreting channels for cables and water

So should I just squirt the bottom and walls of the channels with a water sprayer and then pour the concrete.
