Condensation trap

My bathroom extractor fan has no condensation trap.So in cold weather water is dripping back into the bathroom.How do i fit one?And where do i send the waste water to?

Is the fan wall, ceiling or window mounted?

It's ceiling mounted.Pipe goes into the loft about a foot.Then bends.And goes out to the roof.I guess there is a up hill slope on the pipe to the roof.That's why the water is coming back down.

They are quite easy to fit, and generally you send the water out under the eaves via a pipe from the trap
