Hello

I am considering removing the old low loss coaxial aerial cable fed from the outside aerial through the loft down to the socket in my front room. At the moment the coaxial is tight and I think that is the conduit box jamming it slightly.

I want to take the conduit box out or certainly loosen it. It has a nail into it fixing the back of it into the concrete/brick and I presume this must have been nail gunned in. Any tips on removal. Getting anything inside the small tv conduit looks difficult.

anyone experienced this

Not experienced the same but I would have thought a centre punch in the middle of the nail head and then remove the head with a HS twist drill.

nail punch sounds good but it is a large head so that it grips the back of the conduit box to the concrete

a hss drill might be an answer though. perhaps just masacre it several times. worth a try unless there are any other thoughts. thanks Qedelec

id dremel it but im not sure i can get it in the conduit box. i would hae thought
there was no need to secure it in this fashion

Chop the head off with a chisel or old screw driver,if it dont come off it may loosen enough to pull out with pliers.

If its surface get a bolster behind box and chop through or lever it off
