Confused with Aqua Panel

One last question, I have the hot and cold shower tails sticking out to add more aggro to this one. Looking at the videos for installing these (panels) they seem to be shifted over sideways and into the corner, this is going to be difficult with these in place. On mine it looks like there are extenders added to change the thread size, how does one get around this? Make the holes bigger?

I'm not sure I fully understand what you're asking, but if you're wondering about the offset the extenders cause your pipes, might it be easier to just build the whole wall out a few mm so when you're putting your decorative surface on you aren't having to shift it around?

Or is the question is about having to place a panel and slide it into a corner, can it be placed straight and then the other panel from the other side of the corner do the sliding (because it has no restriction)?

I think the second part is correct, it's the sliding into the corner that's going to be tricky. Yes I can place it straight but would have to put the corner piece onto the panel first I think? Doesn't everyone have these shower feeds when they are installing these? Maybe these extenders can be removed and then replaced once its in?

OK bit of an update, I have managed to get those extenders off of the pipes. This is great because the pipes are no longer going to cause that much of a problem.

I am in the process of putting these aqua panel cement boards up, these need to have the mesh put on the joins etc and a bit where they meet in the corner, this is fine.

Regarding tanking, I understand that I have to use this but this will be used over the joins etc that I have just put the mesh on, would it not be easier to use the tanking on the cement board? I am not too sure of the answer here

Secondly, I am going to order some panels soon 2400 x 900 with edges and the corner piece. Do you know how these interact with the shower tray, from what I can see the panels go into an edge which sits on the tray (to stop water going down the back). Does this mean that the tray needs to be cut out at the bottom to accommodate this? What I am worried about here is my tray is 900mm the panel is 900 so theoretically it should end at the end of the shower tray. Maybe I am worrying too much about this but I would like the entire panel to just drop into the shower tray trim, I guess I'll just have to see how it looks

Those "extenders" are needed to connect the shower.
As you've taken them off, get yourself some good quality shower bracket.
They don't leak and if you need to change the shower bar, it's a 5 minute job without risking a tile off job.

You don’t need aqua panel behind shower panels unless using the very thin 4-6mm panels .
My shower unit uses flexi hose connection so install was easy .
Just connect and hang on brackets.
