I went to my loft to checked the electrics after my electrician installed a new CU and partially rewired the house and found that he has joined 2 x 2.5mm cables for the sockets using a wago light box. This box is rated at 16A but the cables are part of the sockets 32A ring. The wago connectors he used are indeed 32A. There is one cable coming in and one coming out.

Can i just check is this allowed, so is it the connectors that should be the right rating or does the box needs to be also 32A
