I have a shower to install. The shower controls connect via offset threaded bits (not sure what to call them) which I believe are designed so that the position of the shower controls can be adjusted to be perfectly level. I have used elbow joints on the water pipes. These have the right size thread, but I don't see how they can be watertight unless the offset threaded bits are done up tight - in which case there isn't any adjustment. Should I be using a washer, or is there some other magical way of doing it?
