I have the same problem, two live, two neutral and two earth wires and only one earth terminal in my new switch. I do not know much about electrics but enough to do a straight replacement of a switch.
My problem is that when I put both earth wires into the same terminal my shower stays on and the pull switch does not turn off when pulled. If I remove one of the earth wires it works OK. Any ideas?

Connect all earth wires and with the power off and the switch not screwed into the box, operate the switch mechanism.

Does it work?

It could be that the mechanism is getting jammed when it is screwed home.

How deep is the box?

Can you post pictures?

I would bin the switch it's dodgy before you have even used it!

I always by Crabtree plenty of room and two earth terminals.

Regards,

na :D
