i am putting 2 double sockets into our new conservatory, i am under the impression that cables should not be fed around the cavity walls ?. could cabling be put into conduit or behind metal sheathing and run horizontly around inner skin of dwarf wall behind skirting before the inner skin is plastered ? any help grateful

It is permittable to run wires horizontally between accessories, I don't think behind the skirting is in a permitted zone.

run cables in conduit on floor before screeding, then run upwards to socket.
alternatively run from socket to socket horizontally, but keep wiring at the same level as the sockets; not below or above.
avoid wiring horizontally behind the skirting board because it's not in a cable zone and it may get nailed through.
