I have a victorian style conservatory with a 600mm dwarf wall and pvc. We have 3 double sockets (350mm in height) installed around the dwarf wall and wanted to put an outside socket in. Looked at all sorts for information but unsure where the wiring for these sockets would be as they are in the cavity and my stud finder doesn't pick them up. Is there certain regs where these should have run, ie along the concrete floor or below the window?
Would have thought that the wiring would run along the floor and then vertical to the plug sockets or horizontal from socket to socket. Wanted ideally to install the outside plug above my existing sockets.
Not sure when the conservatory was built but the house was built in 1990 so would have been after that.
