We have rewired 18 bedroom conversion.
We have installed a Landlord circuit which is a long coridor.
The bank of lights are with sensors. ie every door you open the lights come on some sensor as 3 lights, some 6 and so on. Total sensor are about 6
I hope that makes sense.

Now what i would like is to also fit a Manual, Auto and On switch to the circuit so we can turn them all on permanetly turn them off and put them on auto for the sensors to kick in.

Can this be done with a contactor??

Are the sensors already wired to the lights? The way I'd do something like that would be to wire everything to a central location, then you'd have a contactor for each bank of lights, driven by their respective sensors but through a ganged selector switch which can connect them straight through (auto), turn then permanently on, or off.
