Hey,

I have just connected my new electric hob to the 45A cooker control unit to soley run it, but i need another connection for the oven. The oven is rated at 2300W (10A), can i connect this to an exisiting fused spur to run, or do i need to get a new spur run from the CCU???

If it is only 10A you can use a 13A plug or an FCU, new or existing at your choice.

If you run it from the cooker circuit, the cable feeding the spur must be suited to the protective device.

This is what I did, take 2 cables from the CCU and feed one to the hob, the other to a single unswitched socket for the oven.
