Cool white or Warm white

I have put a new light up in the bedroom, it has 5 x 30w halogen g9 bulbs that came with the light. It is very bright as you would expect, i am going to buy some LED bulbs to replace the halogen ones, in general will warm white be brighter than the halogen bulbs or softer.

The colour temperature doesn't really affect the brightness, it does affect the perceived brightness though. Warm white is a softer white, and cool/brilliant white is WHITE, and very crisp. For me, there's no choice, it's hands down W/W in a bedroom

150watts of light in a bedroom! Very cozy. A dimmer (or candles) might be a better option.

In general I use warm white indoors and cool white outside.
