I should have stuck with my original intention to get a basin with seperate taps, now I'm stuck with these tails, I think they are intended to be soldered and I don't feel competent,
They are 9" long, can I shorten them and then bend them slightly when they are fixed to the tap? If I bent them before fixing I wouldn't know where the bend would finish up.
Then I'm thinking I could use push fit, flexible pipes.

Is this a sound idea?

Thanks for any advice....regards....Mike

Screw the tails into the taps, fit into hole in the basin then you can gently pull the tails apart enough to get two compression connectors on (or pushfit if you prefer)

Or buy some flexible pipes that will fit directly in place of the copper ones
I prefer using copper ones myself, with compression fittings

before buying anything check what size the tails are. Could be 15mm or 10mm ;)
