So much choice out there, but I've been well chuffed with my Hitachi Li-ion 18v, courtesy Screwfix.......its had some real grief for years now.

you can also fit far more tools in the boxesIf I was buying nowadays, I'd go for a nice light compact 10.8v unit. I hardly use any of the bigger heavier units now.

I can go along with that. One of the two 18V batteries that came with my DeWalt can't hold its charge beyond about 5 minutes!See too many cases of battery failure with De Walt.
