Correct way to isolate hotwater with a combi

I presume the way to isolate the hot water supply when its fed by a combi with no hot water cylinder, before I undertake a bathroom refit is to turn off the main cold stopcock and then isolate the boiler electrical supply? Thanks.

Yes!

However, don't isolate below the boiler (on the jig) as they almost always leak!

Hot water sequence begins with a flow of water. If you prevent the flow, we have no sequence.simples.
