The best way is take the radiators off! and flush out with a garden hose.
Job done. You can also flush the system through with the mains which works pretty well. I would give BG the push.

For the cost of british gas power flush I can put a whole set of new radiators in the house.

Thats not bad going for 13 radiators, but not sure how it would help the blocked pipes.
