I need to have a hole blocked up. Is £110 cheap to brick up a 3x4ft hole, if Im supplying materials?
Or should I see how much the local Polish guys will charge? The ones that loiter outside the local DIY store!

DIY job, (this is a diy site after all!) Pick up a bucket, trowel and a bag of readymix mortar while you're in the diy store.

Never done bricklaying before. Sorry for my ignorance, but whats the best way to cut a brick?

Hmmm, so that's £11 per block or £1.70 per brick.

Where's me trowel
