:?: Our bathroom countertop sink is coming away from the wall. I'm not sure how to fix it.My husband thinks it is because our house is settling. How do we fix the counter so that the sink can be flush with the wall?

House settling !!!you live in an area with underground workings ? Depends on what you mean by coming away as Dan says a pic would help, if its only a gap at rear and the unit has not come loose then apply some silicon sealant.

house is somewhere in the USA...

might be a timber-framed house

the wall might be drywall or do they call it sheet rock? plasterboard, or it might be brick or concrete

Might be very old or might be very new.

These points will affect what's happening.
