Cover/protect pipes in wall or just fill in?

Hello, I plan to run 15mm HEP2O pipes up the wall. Do I need to cover these to protect/insulate or simply get the plasterer to fill them in? Many thanks

You should cover them to allow for expansion.

Run them inside a sleeving/barrier pipe.
