Covid passport

I can't see anything that tells you a 48-hour validity last 30 days.

Where did you see it?
No but I was told that "A Covid Pass" is only valid for thirty days.
I queried this as obviously if you are fully vaccinated then there is no need for the pass to expire in thirty days.

Then I was told that you could get "A Covid Pass" by having a negative test within 48 hours of intended use and obviously this would not be valid for thirty days.

So you didn't see it.
What is it about people on this forum and reading what is written?

I didn't 'see' what you are referring to but Denso told me that "a covid pass is valid for thirty days".

Apparently it later turns out that some are not.

The mind boggles.
Has Boris been writing the regulations?

I would hope that no-one with a positive PCR test gets a Covid passport.
A positive result means it's likely you had coronavirus (COVID-19) when the test was done. You must self-isolate immediately.

Covid passports are a way of proving that a person has been vaccinated against (or in some cases recovered from or tested negative for) Covid-19

A simple and rather obvious slip of the pen. I think we all know what the intended meaning and regulation was. I spotted that error yesterday.
Quite enormous potential consequences with a small slip of the pen.
On a government website that hasn't been corrected?
And it's been like that since 9th December.
Next review date 23rd December.

How long does a digital Covid pass last?
If you have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, with your second dose at least 14 days ago, the barcode your digital pass will be valid for 30 days from when you access it or download it as a PDF.

The pass for a negative PCR test or rapid lateral flow test lasts for 48 hours.

The bit you're looking for is in your own quote. Recovered from Covid. The theory being that having caught and not died from Covid you're lower risk, similar to a vaccinated person.
