Cr@p water pressure in most taps

I have a gravity fed system, 2 tanks in the loft of our 3 bed semi (1930's built) All taps water pressure is very poor, apart from the kitchen sink cold tap, and the downstairs toilet cold tap. Downstairs toilet hot tap isnt too bad, but not great. Upstairs taps in bathroom, both hot and cold, are barely more than a trickle. I understand about the downstairs cold taps being mains fed, but the other taps are as good as useless, any ideas please guys?

Look into the header tanks.....are the outlets half submerged in crap?
