Cracks in Render.
Hi Guys, im buying a house and just waiting for the building servery to be done next week on the property before i buy it. i was wondering what you guys think of the visible cracks in the outside render as and if its more on the side of a easy fill, paint and fix. or somethink more costly. i know the report next week will tell me but its always nice to get more experts with there thoughts.
Thanks

Grinder and filler.
Charliediy demo on YouTube if you want to take a look at repairing.
I don't think it's anything bad, but wait for survey

All the survey will say is "Unable to comment on possible structural damage as wall is rendered and brickwork is inaccessible."

S/C renders crack as soon as you sneeze. It's why folk have moved on to more flexible polymer renders. There can be a number of reasons why it has cracked, most of which are not sinister. Expect ambiguity from a survey.
