Creative storage solutions

Hi,
My mum is having heart surgery soon and will be moving in with me. I will be giving up my bedroom for her and sleeping downstairs (we have a very comfy wall bed) But I can't think of where to store our clothes? We have part of our garage has uvpc door and window could we have a wardrobe and store our clothes in their do you think? Or would a sofa with storage underneath be better?

If you've got a downstairs loo your mum would be better off living downstairs. Storage- if the garage isn't heated clothes could deteriorate quite quickly, better keeping them indoors or look at vac bags- really useful for saving space (long as you don't have a cat to puncture the things) & will be ok in the garage.
