Creda Connoseur gas oven not igniting

Creda connoisseur gas oven.For a while now now the igniter has clicked sometimes when the oven has been in use.
Now the oven works when it wants to!
When it doesn't work, it is "dead" - no clicking or fan and no gas.
Is this an igniter problem or something else and how easy to fix? (the oven is built in)
