Hi. Can anyone tell me the correct sequence of the spring, washers and gaskets on the bolt when putting in a new filter element?

Dont forget the rubber washer that fits onto the ally flange.

Thanks fellas. Now reinstalled and no leaks visible.

Btw, why is it reccommended that you wipe some fuel on the main gasket before tightening the cover back on?

The smear of oil on the gasket is to lubricate it to stop it ripping when the filter bowl is tightened

It also helps hold it in the slot
