I neeg a new CU, but before i go ahead i would like to know how much an electrition would charge me roughly to fit one

Between £300 and £500, depending on the state and age of the existing wiring, the number of circuits, the level of accessibility of the area to be worked in, whether the spark's having a good day . . .

The last one I did was £575.

It involved upgrading earthing and bonding and a fair amount of circuit modification to make them compliant.

My base price is £300 for a trouble-free change.

i'm usually lower than £250, if all is ok with bonding etc.

it all depends on existing installation.

My starting price for cu change is £350
Got the go ahead for a cu change nextweek that I quoted out at £569 to include bonding, new earth rod (watermain used at present) change tails (canvas covered at present).
