Cuts or not if a full tile will do?

First off happy New year!

I'm half way through my first go at tiling in our bathroom, going ok so far.

As I've gone for a brick bond pattern, I'm left with a small cut every other row. Around the mirror aperture, I've put in a full (ish) tile. Would you normally put in a small cut to maintain the alternating grout lines?

You would normally set out to avoid any slither cuts, but this is not always possible, so you try to keep the tiling as pleasing to the eye as possible.
If you can cut the tile to maintain a good grout line, that would be the best way forward.

If it were me I would add the extra cut to keep the grouting pattern consistent. Especially as in your case the upper row of the mirror and the row below the mirror mean you end up with three courses looking identical on that wall.

Cheers Ross.
