Banning rambo knives won't make any difference, you can get a knife anywhere or even make your own.
The thing that amazes me is the perpertrators total lack of concern for their own future ie life in prison. Also in most of these cases it's all done and dusted in a few days, Knife him on monday, nicked on tuesday, magistrates court on wednesday, two families in ruins.
It seems to me that they are people who think they have no future and life in prison means absolutely nothing to them.

It is a terrible situation.
Also, stop making prisons a home away from home, or in some cases, better than that. If you go to prison for a serious offence, then don't expect to be mollycoddled....... no human rights if you're behind bars I think

Get real Joe ... Much of the culture amongst gangs is driven by organised crime which is far more lucritive than any job these lads are likely to be able to get and keep and it has nothing whatsoever to do with immigration.
It's about grass roots issues such as core values and beliefs, good parenting, good core education, the need for a mature justice system and well resourced law enforcement ... More police on the streets and less speed cameras would be a damn good start here ... A bouyant economy with opportunuties for young people driven by links between education and business etc etc.
You can't see past the immigration issue that's your problem.

You've got it all wrong MW (as usual). Society has changed. The types that are breeding are the chavs, the have-nots, the no-hopers. Intelligent couples don't seem to have children these days, maybe one or two kids at most. The chavs use kids as a tool to climb the social housing ladder and get benefits. Pop out a few sprogs and get the rewards. Many parents have never had a job in their lives. Pigs breed pigs and in 15 years time those little piglets have piglets of their own. The country is being populated by chavs, who become feral youth and cause mayhem in a world they are too stupid to contribute to and a world that they know doesn't want them. The days of the factory handle puller and box packer they would have become in olden days has gone. We have a whole raft of under educated youth that society has no use for. Sad really.
Actually Joe90 I find myself agreeing with most of what you say. what we really oould do with, is a good old conventional war. Lots of death and mayhem, cull the younger generation back, and teach the ones who survive some real values.
