I have a diamond wheel wet tile cutter and it says you can use it to cut holes/recesses, but it doesn't say how. I need to cut a rectangular hole for wall mounted taps in the centre of a 10mm porcelain tile. Anybody got any tips on how I can do this?

is the tile 10mm thick or is that the size

the way to cut the centre of a tile without going throught he edges is simple, place the tile on top of the wheel, (as its moving preferably) you will need to take out the guard as it will get in the way.
