Hello

I have boxed in my toilet and I would like to tile it. The problem is I am using porcelain tiles and Im not sure how I am going to cut the hole for the flush?

I dont want to have to go out and buy a spcialised tile cutter for just one hole so was wondering if there was a jigsaw bit I could use which would do the trick for one hole? surely it would work if i squirt water on it aswell?

Sorry if that sounds dumb! if so, educate me! :)

to be honest with you mate, the chances of a cheap diamond bit NOT burning out is minimal.
I can make a suggestion to you if you really dont want to buy a decent bit
Mark on the front and back of your tile where you want your hole and the size, then cut through from the back with a diamond tipped disc on a grinder, once you got the hole near enough the size you want, use a tile file to file the hole round, thats probs your cheapest option, unless you know a tile fixer who might drill it for you

So if i did have the money to buy a decent diamond drill bit how would I cut the whole then? because it wont be a small whole. How much would I be looking at spending on a decent bit?

sorry the reply is late mate, if you give me the size of the hole you need to make i will be able to give you an idea of the price you would pay

why dont you just hire a diamond core bit from HSS or the likes...as you have said its only one hole.
