DAEWOO MATIZ V REG KEEPS CUTTING OUT

Hi, my Daewoo Matiz keeps cutting out when I am driving, it starts again straight away, I have replaced the distributor. Has anyone any ideas what might be cuasing this?

A little more information required, does it cut out like it's been switched off? or does it splutter to a halt?

Hi the car just cuts out like it has been switched off, but when I turn the key it starts straight away.

It could be something as simple as a failing ignition switch - although I don't know if its a known problem on these.
Presumably the dash lights come on as well?
I think I'd be dropping the shrouds off the steering column, and checking for loose multiplug connections, continuing towards the fuse box and under bonnet connections too. You may have quite a task here, unfortunately.

was it a brand new, recon or second hand distributor?

Is the battery secure, I had a car once and the battery moved and short circuited against the bonnet hinge, stopping everything.

Brand New Distributor, but pattern part
