Brexit warning: UK desperately needs trade deal more than EU, experts believe

THE UK desperately needs a comprehensive post-Brexit free trade agreement with the EU more than Brussels requires it with London, political experts have warned, as the impact of a no deal scenario could be "far more severe" for Britain.

“The EU holds all the advantage in the post-Brexit trade talks."

I think we can all safely agree that the EU are collectively sh1tt1ing their pants.

The recession will be twice as deep as the 2008 financial crisis, as Ms Lagarade said the bloc faced a “massive economic crisis and one that was literally unheard of in peace time for the damage it is causing”.

Remoaners claim we are the ones heading for the cliff edge.

barnier says contemptibly ....."shut the door on the way out".
No problem boyo.

Why? Give some reasons.

Shortfall in budget and countries collectively wishing to pay less rather than more.

Coronavirus bailout further compounding budget shortfalls.

Importance of UK as a consumer to Germany, France and Italy, germany's the main one, beyond France and Italy the remaining countries are of little consequence.

Dependence of a number of countries on access to our fishing waters.

Reliance on the UK for intelligence.

I could go on but, it's late.

No shlit Sherlock!

We are a small cog in the European economy these days, there is little we produce that EU countries cannot easily get elsewhere.

We're leaving, or have left, the EU. People wanted a hard Brexit, the government wanted it, so lets embrace it.

Tighten those belts.

We produce £9 billion for them each year.
Lets see them get it else where given the economic schitt storm that is heading their way.
