Here is something I saw today....
A quick run-down.
The supply type is Subterranean TT, The cut-out is not earthed!!
Some extension sockets on 30mA RCD, otherwise nothing.
No visible rod, no visible MEB to water, but there is MEB to gas, bringing Zs at S/O down to 0.89.
The tails from the meter feed into the grey GEC switch fuse, which is fused on both phase & neutral.
From the switchfuse the single pair of tails runs off to two CU's, one 7m away & the other 15m away. How they get there & where they join is anyone's guess!
The earth wire you can see attaches to the grey switchfuse, but is not deriving an earth from it, rather it is earthing the switchfuse via the gas pipe which is connected to the CU where that earth wire is also attached.
Excuse the focus (my camera is still playing up), but the bottom piccy is an old bakelite round pin socket. Disused, thankfully.
