darkish colour in ceiling lights

I have just put in my living room 2 lovely 3 lamp ceiling lights.
Trouble is they show darkish colours at the bottom of the glass shade when turned on.
They came with 3 G9 bulbs 240/25w .. they look fab, but just a wee bit disappointed by the dark colour at the bottom, some are not as bad as others.

You can get that with economy lamps, they get a little brighter the longer they are on.
