my cooktop works fine, my clock /oven is dead. The wife said it went bang and stopped

Are they on the same circuit, have you check the fuse

Looking at the wiring diagram there is no fuse. I havent pulled it apart yet but it seems to have a thermolimiter?? somewhere in the system, and a programmer?? so unless someone else has a working knowledge of this model it will be a case of just exploring

the fault was the themal cutout on the back left hand side at the top under the elemnts. if this blows it cut all power to the oven
