Democracy, Democracy, Bananas

Well they never asked me to take part in said test which was probably a load of baloney any way

A recent said survey showed that a significant amount of the U.K. Population are holocaust deniers which was seized upon by the media

Another load of waffle depends whAt questions are asked

The format , margin of error ect ect

But according to you you never voted.

For someone who doesnt vote you are awfully opinionated.

Looks like the facade has dropped. Do you think by saying you don't vote strengthens your points of view?

I did vote in the referendum

I do not vote in general elections

I have not voted in a general election since the 80's

I will not vote in another EU referendum

Or any general election

There should never have been a referendum in the first place

Any one who thought that some of those voting in said referendum would vote purely on EU issues was an idiot and a buffoon :)

Dare say plenty who took part did not even know we were in the EU
 Or even heard of it

But that's democracy for you

And is that "democracy at work"?

Democracy at work is

When u have say ???

A referendum like say a ref on Scottish independence and more people vote no than yes.

But I am told that those who voted yes the minority should have there way ?

Is that what u had in mind as an example of democracy at work ?

:sneaky:

Try to keep up - you were the one who started talking about "EU directives democracy at work".

Tis you who lives in a world of fantasy

You have no idea how government and the EU work  not a scooby

EU directives democracy at work

So stop moving the goalposts by suddenly talking about Scottish independence referenda.

When you wrote "EU directives democracy at work ", what did you mean?

EU directives are democracy at work

An example of democracy to the world
:sneaky::LOL::LOL:

The Scottish independence referendum was not democratic

As they never gained independence  dunno how they came to that conclusion
After all more people voted to stay in the union than than voted for independence .

They probably did not under stand the question ?

How can they say that more scots wanted to remain in the union based on the votes of a referendum

Tis a mystery

Again you think that you should mention Scottish independence referenda.

Stop doing that.

Well this Scottish independence referendum is a mystery to
Me

I cannot get my ead around it more people voted to stay in the union and yet they did not get independence

Blimey if that was the result what's the point of having a binding referendum  in first place :sneaky:

But you said they were:
EU directives are democracy at work
Is this a representation of the inside of your head?

So what do you think are the democratic failings of EU directives, given that you are OK with having tens of thousands of UK directives which are not debated in Parliament?

It happens a lot.
