derated light switch cable

Swapped some doors around and got round to moving one of the switches today but found to stud wall I pulled the cable into is full of rock wool insulation. Is it necessary to pull as much of the insulation in the path of the cable out as I can due to cable derating or will it be OK? 1.5 mm cable with live and switched live with Max 100w bulb.
