Desperate for boiler help

Hi,

My poor parents got a Glow worm ultracom 2 cxi climapro 2 Rf boiler installed and the guy who installed it has it so their heating comes on at 3pm. They are cold at 11am, how do they override the program when they feel like it?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Perhaps ask the installer to pop back and reprogram or demonstrate the override function?

Part of the procedure for installing a boiler requires the users are instructed in how to use the appliance and controls.

But some older people do find them confusing.

I reluctantly fitted a wireless programmable thermostat for a 93 y.o. lady on the basis the daughter would take care of showing her how to use it.

I have to say she took to it very well and carries it around the house. But she does have a computer and the internet.

Iv got to defend engineers here, on several occasions Iv gone over and over the procedure to use the boiler
and I still get the expected phone call that the heating is not working.
Even with simple controls,

Seems some people just need a bit more time.
