firstly sorry if is in the wrong place, I have steamed off the artex in my small bathroom it appears under the artex is pva really struggling to get this off, and under that appears to be a textured paint its rough like it got sand in it, and under that yellow paint, in some areas, the steam has penetrated all layers and ive been able to pull it off in strips down to spotless plaster however in some areas I have only got down to the sand textured paint and its not budging ive read about xtex and contemplating buying some its advertised as being able to remove bonded and unbonded textured coatings but I dont know what that means or if it will work in my situation can anybody please explain the difference thanks.
