Different dimmer switch

I need a 2 gang dimmer switch and plan on using MK sockets etc for my new extension so was looking at MK's dimmer switch. It is twice the price of others it seems.

Can anyone tell me why it is so much more ? Is it doing something more than the LAP one as an example here.

I am planning on running 2 ceiling lights and 3 wall lights all running on normal LED bulbs around 5-10W

The Mk one your looking at seems designed to Dim transformer loads, not Led loads, they probably make a cheaper version for other loads, what lamps are you dimming

Just normal lights using one bulb in each, so low wattage led bulbs.

I’m not using transformers.

I see now why it is pricier
