Hi all,

I've been looking to buy some low-energy downlighter bulbs to use in some accent lighting, but would like to install them on a dimmer. That ruled out LED (my first choice). I looked at cold-cathode ones, but every set I have found is explicitly non-dimmable.

I've found these:

Anyone tried them out? What did you think of them?

They 'dim' after a fashion but if you're expecting the same kind of light and performance as an incandescent lamp you will be disappointed........you will also receive some interesting advice from megaman about the size of dimmer required to control these 'low' energy lamps.....
