DIMPLEX XLS Wattage ?

My son want to replace three OLD Dimplex XLS wall hanging heaters in his flat.

No labels to say what wattage, size 60cm.x 60cm.

Anybody help with this info.

Are the newer Dimplex a good replacement ?

Anybody help with this info.

A qualified electrician will be employed to fit new heaters.

Room sizes


Hall 90x320

Bedroom 340x280

Lounge 420x420

Ask him to measure the wattage of the old ones.

XLS heaters are floor standing night storage heaters and I believe all taller than 600mm

Edit beaten again... serves me right for making drinks while writing a relpy.

OMG NO.
However swmbo had a 'girly lunch' for 6 guests, this happens about this time most years and I'm banished from the house. 2 of the husbands have to drive and a third came along for the ride, so we go out together and often for a game of foul shot - our name for the game played on a 12x6 table with 6 pockets, covered with green felt and 15 red & 7 other coloured balls - today with the snow we elected not to go by car and headed for the nearest pub by foot. As usual we got home about 4pm for buffet style tea and leftovers from the ladies dinner.
As I wasn't driving I didn't exactly hold back...
lined up awaiting transfer to the recycling we found 3 prosecco and 3 wine bottles when we got back.
After eating we were allowed to mingle with our partners wherapon another bottle of each joined the others.

The last of our guests left about 11:30 and no more alkofroleeks were wekwired;)

To add to my original post. make identification, these heaters were installed when flats were build very many years ago.

Are the new Dimplex heaters a good replacement ?

Sons heaters are a lot older then the ones in tic data sheet. see below

The height of the radiator includes the feet.
The 70cm height matches the 26" bike wheel quite well!
Your sons radiator is the original XLS12, the XLS12N would be a direct replacement.
The input power rating is 1.7kW
