Dishwasher install advice

Hi people

I've got a new dishwasher coming today so I've been clearing my cupboard out ready to remove the old one, only to realise it's hardwired in.
What do I need to do to convert this to the plug in style.
Happy to have a go myself.
Any advice appreciated.

I'm assuming the grey cable goes to the back of the dishwasher and needs removing first.

you could swap for a socket, possibly
But then how far out will the plug come out and so will the dishwasher still fit in ?
or cut the plug off - supposed to NOT invalidate warranty - but then i guess if an issue you will have a discussion maybe agument with the supplier

wheres thew cable for the diswasher ???
can the plug socket go on the other side of the cabinets ??

Is the the cable for the dishwasher not the grey one visible in the photo?

Could I convert that backbox into a normal plug in backbox using the existing cables?

yes, but you need to work out how to get the massive plug for the new one thru the wood.

Usually there isn't enough room behind the DW to plug into power outlet, as it would cause the DW to stick out.
So that is probably why it has been put to the side.

You could be very luck that the DW may have a plug on the back. and that plug could be a common style.
For example my Bosch one from 2012 had a plug on the back, but non standard plug
