DIY / Hobbyist Angle Grinders

Over the weekend I borrowed my neighbours angle grinder
For a couple of smallish jobs in the garden.
It`s `Performance`model from B@Q £24.99p something like
That I think.After a awhile it keeps blowing a fuse,before I`d
Finished too what I was doing.
“Just throw it away” he said.”Can`t get em`repaired”.
He`s had it 2 years,only cut a couple of ceramic tiles with it.
I think I could really find some jobs for something like this.
Especially as they come with attachments.I`ve always used
My electric drill in the past for sanding etc.
What do members recommend for a good quality `hobbyist`
Type DIY angle grinder.?
I`ve had a Challenge bench drill for years,a beauty for the jobs
I do with it.Are Challenge grinders any good.?

It takes an eternity (if at all) to get parts from B&Q power tools...treat yourself to a Bosch one - it'll last for ages and the pin spanner actually works too. One of the most useful tools of all time (but needs to be treated with great respect) - especially now that 1mm slitting discs are readily available.
I've never had much success with the cup brushes though - they tend just to fly apart although they are recommended for angle grinders.
