I was wondering the other day about this forum (apparently there's a website too!) and wondered how it all started. One guy with a few ideas? Or a collection of investors and huge funds???

Does it actually make money?

I mean, the site is good, but without the contributors and this forum it wouldn't be on my favourites list.

So how long has the site been running etc.?

A slight side step...
I also think it would be nice if avatars were allowed (within reason) so that people could have a little more identity on the site. I dont think it would be messy? Regular contributors should also have a title to indicate their status on the site. For example, B-A-S could have 'Electrician' so visitors know that his advice would be sound. Or would this lead to a litigation can of worms????

What do you lot think? :D

is a rating system realy usefull unless its interactive
i could [and probably am   :D ] be a complete
t*ss*r with no idea but providing i am prolific in my posting
i can be embelished with for example the title of cheif
wood mdf and router mechanic or wood god
but unless its interactive i may get away with cheif
rocket scientist and left hand mastibator[or was it right hand]

the point isyour postings tell your ability and the reaction
of others tell if you are guessing or reasonable at what you
are suggesting

i only make suggestions if its a common sense or i know the answer
if im not sure i say [if any of my answers are dangerous or wrong
i expect a kick up the arris to keep me in check

loosing the plot now sleepy time good night

big all
